The Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence and the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany are very pleased to co-host a special research seminar “Germany in the European Union: Opportunities and Challenges of the Upcoming German Council Presidency” with Ms. Franziska Hagedorn, the Deputy Ambassador of Germany to Canada.

In July 2020, Germany will assume the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union. In this seminar, Ms. Hagedorn will discuss the priorities of the German Council Presidency.
