Dr. Zapesotskiy will be visiting EURUS to talk about contemporary political and social issues facing Russia. Besides being the Rector for the St. Petersburg University of Humanities and Social Sciences, Dr. Zapesotskiy is an expert who is the Chairman of the State Duma Expert Committee for Labour and Social Policies and is Chairman of the Executive Committee of the St. Petersburg Intelligentsia. He has over 1900 publications and has received numerous awards including the Order of Friendship as well as medals for commemorating the 300 Years’ History of St. Petersburg and for saving peoples’ lives.
