CES will be hosting an event “NATO: Defence of Borders and Values” at which Juozas Olekas, Minister of Defence of the Republic of Lithuania, will discuss the importance of the NATO transatlantic link in the wake of the new security situation in Eastern Europe.
This event is part of the European Perspective Series organized by the Centre for European Studies at Carleton University. This event is cosponsored by the SSHRC-funded Canada-Europe Transatlantic Dialogue and the Centre for Security and Defence Studies, as well as the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to Canada.
