The Wakefield International Film Festival will present:
Dangerous Acts Starring the Unstable Elements of Belarus
A Film by Madeleine Sackler
March 1st at 5:00PM and March 5th at 7:30PM
As a special add-on, there will be a discussion following the Saturday March 1st, 5pm screening on “The Necessity of Bearing Witness: political activism in theatre,” with theatre artists Arthur Milner and Robert Rooney, and academic Dr Volha Isakava, an expert in the Belarusian resistance movement and the role of popular culture in post-Soviet countries.
Admission is $10 and includes the panel if one attends on Saturday. Tickets may be purchased via the WIFF website or at the door at the Wakefield Centre, 38 Valley Drive, Wakefield, QC.
