DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a roundtable discussion which will discuss political, socio-economic, and judicial developments in Uzbekistan since its independence from the Soviet Union. Themes in Uzbekistan's foreign policy and the current state of Canadian-Uzbek relations will also be discussed. 



Roundtable participants include His Excellency, Bakhtiyar Gulyamov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the United States, and Mr. Kadambay Sultanov, Head of Americas Department, MFA of Uzbekistan. The discussion will be moderated by professor Jeff Sahadeo.



This event is co-hosted by EURUS and the Uzbekistan Embassy to the United States.
