EURUS is pleased to host a talk and Q&A by Professor Piotr Dutkiewicz<\/a> and Mr. Gilles Breton based on the open letter they penned on the Future of Canada-Russia Relations on Tuesday, November 10 at 12:00 pm<\/strong> on the EURUS Zoom. Register below!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the event: <\/strong> “There is a point in time when individuals who harbour concerns about government policy have to express their views in a more direct and open manner when they feel that the interests of their country are not well served by the status quo. The attached paper is our attempt to do that by challenging the assumptions that underpin the current state of Canada-Russia relations. This letter was written jointly by Gilles Breton (former diplomat) and myself and presented to HE Canadian Ambassador in Moscow (copy of our letter was also sent to HE Ambassador of RF  in Ottawa). We made it also public in Canada (at CGPM at Carleton University) and in Russia (thanks to Russia in Global Affairs journal). We will also discuss the main points of our document  next Tuesday during a public seminar that will be  organized by EURUS at Carleton University.” – Piotr Dutkiewicz<\/i><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event will address the letter with presentations by both authors, as well as a Q&A period where the audience is welcome to participate and ask questions about the letter and its contents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
