The event is held in the honour of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/eurus\/people\/debardeleben-joan\/\">Professor Joan DeBardeleben<\/a>&nbsp;to celebrate her contributions as a longtime faculty member and former director of the Institute of European, Russian and Eurasian Studies (<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/eurus\/\">EURUS<\/a>) and as founding director and current Associate Director of the Centre for European Studies (<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/ces\/\">CES<\/a>).
