She graduated from Baku State University and gained a specialty in Oriental Studies. Her research interest is international and internal migration and its impact on societies. Her current research focuses on migrant suffering in Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alexander Nesmashnyi (MGIMO University, Moscow) \u2013 <em><strong>Gramscian Perspective to Hegemonic Competition in Eastern Europe<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alexander Nesmashny is an Analyst at the Euroasian Research Centre of<br>\nInstitute for Foreign Studies at MGIMO University, Moscow, Russia. He<br>\nreceived his degree in International Relations from MGIMO University. His recent publications include \u201cLocal Hegemony: China\u2019s Special Economic Zones in Mauritius and Zambia\u201d, Vestnik RUDN. International Relations (2020), \u201cSubregional hegemony in Africa, Intervention analysis\u201d, Proceeding of Young African Researchers (2020) (In Russian). He co-authored Theory of Politics: Practicum, Aspect-Press (2020) (In Russian). His research interests include international interventions, alliances and hegemony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furqan Khans and Khadijah Saeed (National Defence University, Pakistan) \u2013 <strong><em>Geopolitics in the 21<sup>st<\/sup> Century: Foreign Policy, Nationalism and the role of Neo-Eurasianism in the Emerging World Order<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furqan Khan is a research scholar and student of International Relations at the National Defence University, Pakistan. He is the winner of the Best Research Paper Award at the International Conference on Climate Change joint conducted by the London School of Economics Middle East Center and the American University of Sharjah, UAE. He authored multiple research articles and book chapters and regularly presents his research at national and international conferences. Geopolitics of Russia, Eurasia, and the Asia-Pacific Region are his areas of scholarly interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Khadijah Saeed is a student of Peace and Conflict Studies at the National Defence University, Pakistan. Geopolitics and security of South and Central Asia, Europe and the Middle East are her areas of scholarly interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anastasia Kvashnina \u2013 <em><strong>Nostalgia and the Post-Communist Russian Speaking Community<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, Anastasia majored in European Studies and minored in French language and History of Art. She is currently pursuing her MA degree at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy (CERES).
