EU Study Tour and Internship Program 2022<\/u><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Earn a 0.5 course credit this summer by <\/strong>participating in a “Virtual Study Tour” of the European Union followed by optional internships in Europe (EURR 4302\/EURR 5302)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The European Union Study Tour and Internship Program (EUST&IP) is an initiative of the European Studies Network (Canada), a consortium of Canadian universities of which Carleton is a member. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and related uncertainty, we will be offering a hybrid program for 2022. The Study Tour takes place annually in May, and for 2022 over the course of more than two weeks (May 2-20) students will take a “virtual tour” of the key European Union institutions and civil society organizations. Students will engage with representatives of the EU\u2019s administrative and political leadership, such as the European Commission, Parliament, Court of Justice, and Central Bank, along with other European organizations such as NATO and the Canadian Mission to the EU. A number of qualified participants are offered internship opportunities with EU institutions and other organizations following completion of the Tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligibility:<\/strong> Permission of the Institute is required for registration. This will be assessed on the basis of your application. Please send your CV and cover letter to Crina Viju-Miljusevic by March 28, 2022. <\/strong>In your cover letter, please specify if you are interested in applying for an internship position. Once approval of the Institute is provided, the internship application deadline is April 1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
