Originally conceived as an alternative to language study trips abroad during the COVID-19 Pandemic, the tutoring program has continued as a way for EURUS students to improve their Russian language skills to conduct research and to pass the Russian translation exam required by the MA program in EURUS. The program is supported by the Institute of European, Russian and Eurasian Studies and Faculty of Public Affairs at Carleton University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Read, speak, translate with our tutors: Sladjana Grmas and Nazik Teshebaeva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our Russian tutors help each interested student to tackle different aspects of the language (speaking, reading comprehension, translation, grammar, vocabulary, etc.) in <strong>one-on-one lessons<\/strong>. These lessons are <strong>tailored<\/strong> to the student&#8217;s needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tutoring sessions will <strong>supplement our regular language courses<\/strong> and train you to translate on your way <strong>to meeting <a href=\"https:\/\/calendar.carleton.ca\/grad\/gradprograms\/europeanrussianandeurasianstudies\/\">the EURUS language requirement<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program consists of two parts \u2013 <strong>General Tutoring Sessions <\/strong>(with Sladjana) and <strong>Translation Tutoring Sessions <\/strong>(With Nazik).
