{"id":1143,"date":"2013-10-10T15:39:35","date_gmt":"2013-10-10T19:39:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/facts\/?page_id=1143"},"modified":"2023-01-13T16:05:52","modified_gmt":"2023-01-13T21:05:52","slug":"fast","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/facts\/glossary\/f\/fast\/","title":{"rendered":"FAST"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>What is it?<\/h3>\n<p>FAST is a suite of administrative software solutions that integrate with Banner allowing for easy and robust reporting and transaction processing activities.<\/p>\n<h3>Why is this important?<\/h3>\n<p>Financial Services provides access and support for the following FAST products:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Finance Reporting<\/b>: The FAST Finance Reporting application\u00a0provides you with access to transactional details, various types of reports and queries, and information on actuals, encumbrances and budgets for all your Funds and\/or orgns.<\/li>\n<li><b>Budget and Forecasting<\/b>: The FAST Budgeting and Forecasting application\u00a0allows you to request budget adjustments and view your budget adjustment history.<\/li>\n<li><b>Research Administration<\/b> and MyResearch: Use MyResearch to access information about your research grants and contracts, including current balances. Access departmental research funding summaries.<\/li>\n<li><b>Journal Vouchers<\/b>: Request a cost reallocation and send the transaction to another individual electronically.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Procurement Card<\/strong>: Reconcile your University Procurement Card transactions on a monthly basis or access your statement history.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Where do I find more information?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>To access FAST go to the: <a href=\"https:\/\/fast.carleton.ca\/FASTPORTAL\/Login.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FAST Portal<\/a> and log in with your MyCarletonOne credentials.<\/li>\n<li>To learn more about the FAST applications, visit the FACTS website for <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/facts\/fast-tools-support-training\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FAST tools, support and training<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is it?
