This means that to view or create a transaction against any FOAPAL, a user must have the appropriate level of authority to successfully pass the security checks. \u00a0There are currently three levels of access: <a href=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/facts\/glossary\/q\/query-authority\/\">query<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/facts\/glossary\/p\/posting-authority\/\">posting<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/facts\/glossary\/f\/financial-approval\/\">financial approval<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Where do I find more information?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>For questions related to fund-orgn security, contact\u00a0the <a href=\"&#109;&#x61;i&#108;&#x74;o&#x3a;&#x66;&#105;&#x6e;a&#110;&#x63;i&#97;&#x6c;&#46;&#x73;y&#115;&#x74;e&#109;&#x73;&#64;&#x63;&#x61;&#114;&#x6c;e&#116;&#x6f;n&#x2e;&#x63;&#97;\">Financial Systems&#8217; team<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>For access to a Fund or an organization code, contact the <a href=\"mailto: &#99;o&#x6e;t&#x72;&#111;&#x6c;&#108;&#x65;&#114;s&#x6f;f&#x66;&#105;&#x63;&#101;&#x40;&#99;&#x61;&#114;l&#x65;t&#x6f;&#110;&#x2e;&#99;&#x61;\">Controller\u2019s Office<\/a> (non-research related) or <a href=\"m&#97;&#x69;&#x6c;t&#111;&#58;&#x52;&#x65;s&#101;&#97;&#x72;&#x63;h&#70;&#x69;&#x6e;&#x61;n&#99;&#x65;&#x40;c&#97;&#114;&#x6c;&#x65;t&#111;&#110;&#x2e;&#x63;a\">the Financial Analyst assigned to your Fund<\/a> (research related).<\/li>\n<li>Read the &#8216;<a href=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/facts\/2015\/a-special-tips-from-a-financial-services-insider-series-called-did-somebody-say-foapal\/\">Tips from a Financial Insider: Did Somebody Say FOAPAL?<\/a>&#8216; series to learn more about FOAPALs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is it?
