{"id":4124,"date":"2016-04-05T16:44:27","date_gmt":"2016-04-05T20:44:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/facts\/?page_id=4124"},"modified":"2021-10-14T14:36:05","modified_gmt":"2021-10-14T18:36:05","slug":"change-which-period-a-transaction-is-billed-to","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/facts\/eshop\/eshop-frequently-asked-questions\/change-which-period-a-transaction-is-billed-to\/","title":{"rendered":"FAQ: How to change which period a transaction is billed to"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you begin a cart in one month and don\u2019t submit it for approval until the following month, you may receive an error message.\u00a0 You will have to change the period the transaction is billed to before you can submit the cart for approval.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s how \u2026<\/p>\n<h3>eShop\u2019s Default Transaction Date<\/h3>\n<p>By default, transactions will be \u2018billed to\u2019 the period with the date that a cart was created in eShop.\u00a0 This is called the accounting date.\u00a0 For example, I start a cart of office supplies on April 4<sup>th<\/sup> (i.e. this is the date that I added the first item to my cart).
