The promise may be expressed or implied and is legally binding. Warranties typically have a set term, and included and excluded conditions.<\/p>\n<h3>Why is it important?<\/h3>\n<p>Warranties provide \u201cpeace of mind\u201d for a window of time should something happen to the good (or work). Warranties are worth seriously considering and factoring into the total cost of ownership of an item or service that you expect to last for a defined length of time.
