The SAP Concur Travel and Expense system has been live for a year. The Financial Information Systems team would like to share some of the common errors we\u2019ve seen and the questions we\u2019ve been asked.<\/p>\n

Wait!\u00a0 What does \u2018posting access is not required\u2019 mean?<\/h3>\n

This means that users can search for and choose from nearly all of Carleton\u2019s indexes.\u00a0 It does NOT mean that they have permission to use them.<\/p>\n

Approvers have to pay close attention to the index\/es on reports and requests.\u00a0 Approvers can change the index on reports and requests that they are approving.<\/p>\n

Wait!\u00a0 If users can see all indexes, can they see the amount available in my funding source?<\/h3>\n

No!\u00a0 All<\/u> they can see is the code (e.g. D498) and the text (e.g. Finance Office).<\/p>\n

If you have access to multiple sources of funding, you can create a pick list of your indexes.<\/h3>\n

Every time you save an index in the header, it is added to your list of most recently used.\u00a0 This means that you don\u2019t have to search for that particular index each time you want to use it.\u00a0 If you find this saves you time, you can add all of the indexes you have access to the \u2018Most Recently Used\u2019 list.<\/p>\n
