SUMMARY:Governing Climate Mobilities in the Andean Region with Dr. Andrea Carrión
DESCRIPTION:You're invited to attend the latest talk in the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Conversation Series: "Governing Climate Mobilities in the Andean Region" presented by Dr. Andrea Carrión, FLACSO Ecuador (Quito).

How do climate policies shape who moves, who stays, and under what conditions? Drawing on research in Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia, this presentation by Dr. Carrión explores how global agendas translate into local interventions and everyday experiences. Community experiences reveal how residents negotiate, resist, and redefine these interventions, placing agency, territorial attachments, and climate justice at the centre of debates on climate mobility.

This talk is in person and open to the public. A social will follow the talk.
