Women are at the heart of the response to AIDS, are overwhelmingly the frontline health care workers, are tackling the epidemic of sexual violence — and yet we rarely, if ever, hear from them. African women are leading the way, and are experts on what works, what kind of support is most effective, and what challenges need to be met.

Five dynamic African women will speak about what happens when crises strike — such as the AIDS pandemic, Ebola, the kidnapping of Nigerian girls, and sexual violence in conflict — and the role that philanthropy should now play in a transformative response.

Ottawa Ask Her Talks
Thursday, May 28, 2015
Kailash Mital Theatre, Carleton University
7:00 pm – Reception to follow
Tickets: $20

Visit askhertalks.com for more information about the Talks and speakers.

If you have friends or family in Toronto or *Montreal, they can visit askhertalks.com to buy tickets for the Ask Her Talks in their city.

*Les présentations seront bilingues.

We look forward to seeing you at this exceptional event!

—The Stephen Lewis Foundation

Stephen Lewis Foundation
260 Spadina Avenue, Suite 501, Toronto, Ontario, M5T 2E4, Canada
Tel: 416-533-9292 Toll-fre:1-888-203-9990
Charitable registration # 89635 4008 RR0001
stephenlewisfoundation.org | info@stephenlewisfoundation.org

Dear Carleton students, faculty & alumni, The Stephen Lewis Foundation is delighted to host the inaugural Ask Her Talks at Carleton University on May 28th.
