Are you curious why we\u2019re so obsessed with the lives of the rich and famous?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you asked yourself any of these questions or spent any time at all deliberating the many secrets of the human mind, this Throwback 2018 event is for you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and the <a href=\"https:\/\/science.carleton.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Faculty of Science<\/a> invites you to a live recording of the popular podcast <a href=\"http:\/\/mindingthebrainpodcast.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Minding the Brain<\/em><\/a> hosted by world-renowned experts and Carleton professors <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/neuroscience\/people\/kim-hellemans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kim Hellemans<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/neuroscience\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Department of Neuroscience<\/a>) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jimdavies.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jim Davies<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/ics\/people\/davies-jim\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Institute of Cognitive Science<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><a href=\"http:\/\/mindingthebrainpodcast.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Minding the Brain<\/a>&nbsp;<\/em>is a show about the part of you that\u2019s reading this right now: your brain! The standard format for the <a href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/ca\/podcast\/minding-the-brain\/id1343364845?mt=2&amp;ls=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">show<\/a> has Hellemans and Davies interviewing each other and other specialists about a different mind-related topic every month.
