The Theme Issue is a collective effort in the context of the ongoing global issues of colonization, coloniality, and violence. Our initiative aims to bring about the possibility of disrupting the traditional power relations in knowledge production, which is based on the assumption of the privileged Global North theorization while marginalizing the voices from the Global South.
