His dissertation, &#8220;Unwanted Utopias: Technopolitical Futurities and Streaming Video Under Platform Capitalism,&#8221; explored the narratives told by Big Tech companies as ones bound up in futurity, and used platforms such as Disney+, Twitch, and TikTok as case studies.
