Programs of study include: Art History, History and Theory of Architecture, Film Studies, and Music. Preference will be given to an Indigenous student, but all applications will be considered. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u201cMin\u00f4jitonigewin\u201d (Min-O-jiton-eh-geh-win) is an expression or explanation for someone doing something skillfully and with good intent, it can be used in crafting, writing and painting \u2013 meaning someone has honed a skill. <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">This scholarship will allow students to hone their own skills as they explore their passion for Indigenous arts and culture.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"nominations-are-open\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nominations are open<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">This year\u2019s award is valued at <b>$5000<\/b> and nominations will be accepted until <b>April 12. <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">You can nominate someone for this award here: <\/span><a title=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/ssac\/minojitonigewin-scholarship-nomination-form\/\" href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/ssac\/minojitonigewin-scholarship-nomination-form\/\">Min\u00f4jitonigewin Scholarship Nomination Form<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Min\u00f4jitonigewin Scholarship is awarded annually on the recommendation of the Director of the School for Studies in Art and Culture to an outstanding full-time undergraduate student who is entering or proceeding from one year to another in any program of study within the School.
