Can I access the FAST Portal from off campus?<\/a><\/dt>

<\/p>\n

You are able to access any FAST application from off campus by going to the normal FAST login page of http:\/\/www.carleton.ca\/fast<\/a>.\u00a0 The VPN is no longer required.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Can I access Banner from off campus?<\/a><\/dt>

<\/p>\n

To access the Banner application from off campus, you must be connected to the Carleton Intranet using the VPN software provided by ITS.\u00a0 Click here<\/a> for installation instructions.<\/p>\n

Once you have installed the VPN software and have established a connection to the campus, go to http:\/\/banner<\/a> to login.<\/p>\n

I don't have access to view or post a transaction to a particular fund or orgn in FAST. What should I do?<\/a><\/dt>

<\/p>\n

Access to the Finance Reporting tool is based on fund-orgn security<\/a>, and is automatically granted if you have signing or query ability on a fund or orgn in the University chart of accounts.<\/p>\n
