Some things you may wish to do to prepare for year-end include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review the activity in your fund for accuracy. Any changes that are required should be sent to your fund administrator <b>by March 15<sup>th<\/sup><\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Please note that Tri-Council and OCE do not track expenses against awards on a yearly basis.\u00a0 It is therefore not necessary to include items to be purchased in a particular fiscal year if they are not already purchased.<\/li>\n<li>If your fund is terminating on March 31<sup>st<\/sup> and you require an extension, contact your funding agency before <b>March 31<sup>st<\/sup><\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Check your compliance expiry dates.<\/li>\n<li>Check the deadlines for applying to have your compliances renewed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions or concerns, please <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/financialservices\/staff-directory\/\">contact your fund administrator<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>March 31st is a major reporting deadline for many of our research funds.
