School for Studies in Art and Culture – Film Studies<\/strong>
\nHitomi Kamanaka, internationally acclaimed documentary filmmaker will spend a one-week residency at Carleton University, from Monday, February 3 to Thursday, February 6, 2014.
\nThe residency will feature a main screening along with additional classroom screenings and discussions.
\nMain Screening: Ashes to Honey: Toward a Sustainable Future (2010, 135 min.) on Wednesday, February 5th, 2:30pm-5:30pm in 100 St. Patrick’s Building.
\nAdditional Classroom Screenings:
\nTuesday, February 4, 11:30 – 1:30 pm, 472 St. Patrick’s Building. Screening: Survive from Internal Radiation Exposure (2012, 80 min.)
\nTuesday, February 4, 2:30 – 5:30 pm, 417 St. Patrick’s Building. Screening: Rokkasho Rhapsody (2006, 118 min.)
\nThursday, February 6, 10:30 -11:30 pm, 435 St. Patrick’s Building. Screening: Money Go Around Michael Ende (2000, 50 min.)
\nDirector Hitomi Kamanaka will be present at all screenings. Everyone is invited. Arrive early as space may be limited in the classrooms.
