The graduate students of the Feminist Institute of Social Transformation at Carleton University and the Institute of Feminist and Gender Studies at the University of Ottawa are excited to announce that registration to attend our 2025 conference titled \u201cLove(s) in the Time of Conflicts: An Ongoing Practice of Resilience, Love, Connection, and Hope Amidst Adversity\u201d is now open. This bilingual (French\/English\/ASL\/LSQ) conference will be held in person on 24-25 March 2025 at the Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recognizing current intersecting political and environmental crises, our event aims to create a feminist space that builds bridges between academia and the local and international community to nurture and explore love in a time of political, environmental, and social crises. This conference will also cultivate a feminist space to nurture and explore love between local and academic communities. To foster new dialogues and generate dynamic perspectives, this conference will facilitate discussion sessions by local university students and interactive sessions that encourage knowledge sharing from creative members of our community.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Face aux crises politiques et environnementales actuelles, notre \u00e9v\u00e9nement vise \u00e0 cr\u00e9er un espace f\u00e9ministe favorisant les \u00e9changes entre le milieu universitaire et les communaut\u00e9s locales et internationales afin d\u2019explorer et de cultiver l\u2019amour en temps de crises politiques, environnementales et sociales. Cette conf\u00e9rence cherchera \u00e9galement \u00e0 renforcer les liens entre les communaut\u00e9s acad\u00e9miques et locales. Afin de nourrir de nouveaux dialogues et d\u2019offrir des perspectives dynamiques, nous proposerons des sessions de discussion men\u00e9es par des \u00e9tudiant\u00b7es universitaires locaux\u00b7ales ainsi que des s\u00e9ances interactives encourageant le partage de connaissances par les membres cr\u00e9atifs de notre communaut\u00e9.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
