Consider how gender intersects with race, class, ethnicity, age, ability and sexuality in a globalized and transnational world. Study gender in courses that cross disciplines and contribute to activist projects. Our interdisciplinary program will encourage you to question accepted notions and interpretations of gender roles in society, as well as analyze the multiple ways gender affects our local, national and global environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Carleton University Undergraduate Calendar specifies the requirements for the <a href=\"http:\/\/calendar.carleton.ca\/undergrad\/undergradprograms\/womensandgenderstudies\/\">three undergraduate programs<\/a> in Women\u2019s and Gender Studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"admission-requirements\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Admission Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All new applicants to Carleton apply through the Ontario Universities&#8217; Application Centre. All full-time students currently enrolled at an Ontario Secondary School can apply on-line at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ouac.on.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ontario Universities&#8217; Application Centre website<\/a> (OUAC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For admission to the Bachelor of Arts in Women&#8217;s and Gender Studies program, you must have the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent including a minimum of six Grade 12U or M (U\/C) courses.
