We are excited to invite you to submit your work to the 2025 graduate conference \u201cLove(s) in the Time of Conflicts: An Ongoing Practice of Resilience, Love, Connection, and Hope Amidst Adversity.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jointly organized by the Feminist Institute of Social Transformation at Carleton University and the Institute of Feminist and Gender Studies at the University of Ottawa, this multilingual (English\/French\/ASL\/LSQ) conference will be held in person on March 24th and 25th, 2025. It seeks to provide a space for critical dialogue and the sharing of ideas that reflect resilience, connection, and love in the face of adversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We welcome submissions on a wide range of topics, including (but not limited to) themes of love, collective care, body politics, migration and diasporic resistance, and decolonial praxis. We welcome submissions of formal academic papers for the discussant portion of the event. Additionally, for our interactive sessions, we encourage other forms of knowledge-making and creative scholarship, such as stories, songs, poetry, poster presentations, paintings, and other art forms. De plus, pour nos s\u00e9ances interactives, nous encourageons d’autres formes de cr\u00e9ation de connaissances et d’\u00e9rudition cr\u00e9ative, telles que des histoires, des chansons, de la po\u00e9sie, des pr\u00e9sentations d’affiches, des peintures et d’autres formes d’art.
