The FITA program will be running a group workshop in the Winter 2019 semester called Thriving in Action (TIA), based around principles of positive psychology. This group will be facilitated by Dr. Sara Antunes-Alves, FITA Manager and Registered Psychologist, and Genna Pearce, FITA Team Lead and Registered Psychotherapist.
This group focuses on helping students to be more mindful, optimistic, accepting of themselves, and reach goals. Students will be expected to attend 8 weekly groups over the 2019 Winter semester, starting Wednesday, January 23rd, and ending on Wednesday, April 3rd.
This is a good opportunity for students finishing off their 12 sessions with FITA but would like continued support. Non-FITA students are also welcome to inquire.
