Eco Reps at Carleton have been busy working towards achieving green workplace certification and implementing actions towards improving sustainability on campus. The Green Workplace Certification is designed to educate and encourage members of the Carleton community to adopt sustainable practices in their workplaces. Eco Reps have been sharing best practice and using the program to inspire creative solutions to sustainability challenges in their workplace.

Congratulations to date go to Michelle Santoianni of the Institute of Environmental Science, Integrated Science Institute and TSES (Gold Rating), Jason Goveas from the Paul Menton Centre (Gold Rating) and Laurie Shea in Housing and Residence Life (Bronze Rating).

In addition to the rating, Eco Reps also receive a personalized 12 month action plan to work towards the next certification level, something Jason used by going from Silver to a Gold rating. Over the coming months all Eco Reps will work towards being recognized for their efforts and gaining certification.
