The roof on Dunton Tower requires replacement and this is scheduled to happen in three phases. The first phase to remove the old roof material will happen from Tuesday, June 7 to Friday, June 10 inclusive, from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. The height of the building requires that a crane be used for this work. The crane will arrive at 6 a.m. on Tuesday and will be parked in the loading dock beside Dunton Tower (west side).

Library Road will be reduced to one lane around the area for safety reasons and there will be flag persons on site to assist with traffic.

To mitigate the odours normally associated with roofing, the materials being used for this job are low-odour. Some intermittent noise and vibration will occur for the duration of the work.

The other two phases of this project are expected to happen in late June and early July and when the dates are confirmed, they will be communicated to the campus community.

Thank you for your patience and co-operation.
