For years, Carleton Political Science Professor James Milner has worked with local communities in countries such as Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon and Tanzania to study and assist with the integration of refugee communities living in these nations.
With the support of $3.7 million in grant funding, including a seven-year SSHRC Partnership Grant, Milner is collaborating with researchers from York, Ottawa and McGill Universities to study practical local solutions to the intractable challenges faced by refugee settlements.
