Catherine Traer, a graduate student in Carleton’s Political Science department, is competing in the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in Australia this month as part of the Canadian women’s basketball team. Their first game will be against England on April 6th.

Academically, Traer recently finished an internship with the United Nations High Commission for Refugees in Ottawa.
