For the second year in a row, Carleton Journalism students are leading in the TVO Short Doc contest.
The students have placed in three of the top ten spots and are seeking votes.
TVOntario is asking the public to vote for their favourite 2018 Short Doc finalist to help determine who will win the People’s Choice Award. The students created the following documentaries:

I am Apollo by Arvin Joaquin, Jordan Steinhauer and Atong Ater
One Hand Wonder by Samantha Pope and Angelica Zagorski
Voting is open from Aug. 27 to Sept. 19, 2018. The winners will be announced Sept. 20, 2018. Videos can viewed and votes can be cast at: https://tvo.org/shortdoc/vote.
In 2017, Carleton student Lewis Gordon won the contest for his film More Than a Refugee.
