When Kumaran describes the key to his academic success, he mentions good time-management, but also his favourite classes: “I have really good professors who are incredibly interesting. I just enjoyed my classes, which motivated me.”
Kumaran also credited Carleton’s co-op program with providing him with valuable job experience. After being placed in a co-op position at Public Services and Procurement Canada, Kumaran was offered a summer job there and now has an ongoing part-time position in the real property branch.
“I have a lot of optimism about my future, thanks to the opportunities I received at Carleton,” he said.
