More Information

The Canadian Network for Research on Terrorism, Security and Society will be hosting their semi-annual TSAS Workshop. The workshop will feature a dramatically new format: It will feature 7-9 short presentation, by TSAS Affiliated Researchers highlighting key findings from their TSAS funded research.

These “5 minute Thesis style” presentations will be followed by 4 breakout groups, which will hold fish-bowl style conversations in which the speakers, matched with representatives from TSAS’s government partners, will facilitate a high-level conversation about the subtopics. This format is intended to facilitate questions and dialogue amongst all participants.

The day will conclude with a return to the larger group where all the breakout groups can share summary results of the discussion.

Tentative Speakers list includes:
Bessma Momani, University of Waterloo
Barbara Perry, University of Ontario Institute of Technology
Christian Leuprecht, Queen’s University / Royal Military College
Jeffery Ian Ross, University of Baltimore
Vanessa Iafolla, University of Waterloo
Michael Nesbitt, University Calgary

Open to TSAS Affiliates and employees of relevant federal, provincial and municipal agencies.
Advanced Registration required. For registration please email Elizabeth Ford at ec2ford@uwaterloo.ca
