About the Event
We will be participating in the FPA Research Series Event titled Economic Insights and Evidence to Inform Policy on October 7th and 8th. On both days, the presentations will be between 2 and 4 pm.
Members of the Economics faculty will present their ongoing research on a variety of topics such as the effects of cognitive decline and ageing on decision-making, new insights on business cycles, the economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada, measurement of risk in financial markets, and a new methodology for improving inference in empirical work. These projects also showcase active collaborations that departmental colleagues have with domestic and international scholars in both academic and non-academic institutions and involve graduate students.
