A day-long symposium designed to help journalism students and working journalists do a better job of covering traumatic incidents and reporting on people who have experienced trauma, as well as to provide journalists with tools to understand how reporting on trauma could also affect them. Organized by Matthew Pearson, the 2017 Michener-Deacon Fellow for Journalism Education.
