Developing and Managing Your Career and Employability

The course will introduce you to career related issues and analytical tools connected your study discipline within the Faculty of Public Affairs, and help you to develop a range of transferable skills for work and life. Through its career development focus, this course is intended to support you to develop and evidence a range of employability skills such as: communication, interpersonal, and career management skills that are deemed essential to achieve successful career and life planning. An overarching goal is to provide you with a better sense of how you can use your degree to achieve your career and life goals.

Course Information

Open to all FPA students (BGInS, Communications, Economics, EURUS, Journalism, Law and Legal Studies, Political Science, Public Affairs and Policy Management, Social Work).

Term: Winter 2020

Pre-requisite: 3rd or 4th year standing.
