Senior Consultant, Crestview Strategy

Biography

Degree from Carleton: Master of Political Management

Other Degree: Bachelor of Arts (Political Science & History), University of Prince Edward Island

Current role: Senior Consultant, Crestview Strategy

Length of time in this role: Just shy of 4 years

Snapshot of your work duties:

As a Senior Consultant at Crestview Strategy, my day-to-day responsibilities vary considerably – which is a direct result of the clients I work for. First and foremost, I am responsible for delivering on clients’ objectives – and also ensuring the health of our client relationships in an account management capacity through our agency. I like to explain my role as the intersection of government and business. I spend most of my time helping clients interact with governments (at all levels) to ensure they are able to achieve their business objectives. Some days this takes on the form of direct lobbying, other days it is presentation and analysis driven.

Current work projects:

We have a diverse roster of clients at Crestview Strategy, which means consultants generally are assigned a number of projects at any given time. Currently, in no particular order, I am personally working with the following clients:

  • Intact Insurance
  • Telus
  • Capital Power
  • Amazon
  • CAAT
  • Facebook
  • Telesat
  • Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology Pension Plan

More About Me:

Prior to joining Crestview, I worked as a political aid on Parliament Hill where I was responsible for parliamentary affairs and issues management for the Minister of National Revenue. Prior to that, I worked as a legislative researcher in the Official Opposition Office in Prince Edward Island. I continue to volunteer in electoral politics at the federal level.
