Advice for Current and Future Students:

Always remember that you are in control of your degree and your participation in campus life. There are always people and resources that can help to guide you when you may feel lost. University is the best place to make lifelong connections that will help you find the right path for you and your professional career. Make sure to ask lots of questions, stay engaged, and always be open to trying new opportunities at Carleton! Finally, stay organized and make sure that you don’t just schedule work, but also time to be with friends and family, go on adventures and take a chance you never would have before. There is so much to do and see – be brave!

Campus Activities:

During my last two years at Carleton, I have spent almost my whole experience on campus during the COVID-19 lockdowns and restrictions. However, joining campus activities drastically changed my pandemic university experience. I’ve participated in the First Year Connections Program as a mentee and am now a mentor for the second year in a row. I am a proud member of Calreotn’s Relay for Life committee for the last two years as part of the communications team. I have worked at the Carleton Residence Desk as a Client Service Representative. The time I have spent in activities outside of class has made my experience at Carleton so much more diverse and exciting! I am always willing to answer any questions you may have about my experiences in and out of school.

My Favourite Place on campus:

If you’re looking for a great snack, check out Roosters on the 4th floor of the University Centre! For studying it would have to be the 4th Floor of MacOdrum Library.

Fun Fact about Me:

I used to play competitive volleyball 🙂
