Job Title and Organization: Web Writer/Producer at CBC Ottawa and CBC Power and Politics
Length of time in this role: I’ve been at CBC since February 2016, with a four month break to complete an internship in Mongolia.
On the Job: When working the web my job is to pitch, write and package stories for our web site. I ocassionally do some radio voicers, clips, and weather as well. For Power and Politics I pitch story ideas and treatments, chase guests for our show, write backgrounders and questions for the host, and write up any news the show breaks. I also cut clips, and interviews for our live show or for our website.
Fun Fact: I recently completed two international internships. One in Mongolia in 2017 and one in Ghana in 2016.
