On the Job: Currently, I am part of a research team that advocates for the improvement of the federal minimum labour standards—in this role the Union advocates for legislative reform that reflects the working conditions, particularly relative to temporary or precarious workers.
Current work projects: As a research officer in the Negotiations Branch, I provide advice to negotiators and bargaining team members through collective bargaining, mediation, and arbitration processes in multiple jurisdictions and sectors across the country. I work directly with union representatives for the post-secondary education sector, Government of Nunavut, federal public sector, and First Nations police services and school boards.
Outside of Work: I continue to write aspects of Canadian legal history. Currently, I am writing a book chapter for the ultimate volume of the Canadian State Trials series on the infamous 1971 FLQ seditious conspiracy trial (known as le procès des cinq) in Montreal, QC.
