Advice for Current and Future Students:
Get involved in activities, groups, and events on campus! There is something out there for everyone if you look hard enough. Don’t be afraid to ask for help! Everyone on campus is willing to lend a hand when asked, and there are a number of supports and services available to you on campus.
During my two years at Carleton so far, I have participated in, and helped organize Relay for Life. This year, I am working with the committee to create our first Sensory Friendly Room at the event! This year, I also stepped into my new position as the Administrative Coordinator of the Carleton Disability Awareness Centre (CDAC), which is a CUSA Service Centre. My job with CDAC is to make sure that students with disabilities on campus are welcome, included and having fun. I also have experience with Paul Menton Centre for Students with Disabilities and would be happy to answer any questions you may have 🙂
My Favourite Place on campus:
May be biased- but my favourite place on campus is the CDAC office!
Fun Fact about Me:
I have been dancing since I was 4 years old.
