Snapshot of your duties at work: I work to prepare the Prime Minister for bilateral engagement with both the United States and Mexico, as well as for multilateral engagement at the G7 and G20 Leaders’ Summits.

Current work projects: I am finalizing transition briefings for the incoming government on foreign and defence policy as it pertains to our relationships with the U.S. and Mexico. I was also just working on preparing the Prime Minister and his staff for the visit from a U.S. Congressional delegation on November 6 to discuss the new North America Free Trade Agreement.

How I Got Here: I’ve worked in the federal public service for three and a half years, with stops at Global Affairs Canada (Asia-Pacific Development Programming, International Assistance Operations, International Economic Policy) and Finance Canada (International Finance and Development)
