Advice for Current and Future Students:

University and the whole new environment may seem scary at first. However, it is very important that you do not fold into yourself but instead try to experience as many things as possible. My advice is basically to just have fun, socialize and overall, just enjoy university life. But ensure that you get involved and volunteer as often as possible. Also, do try pushing boundaries by socializing with peers, interacting with professors and lecturers, joining clubs, and finding new activities. University is a great place for learning things about yourself!

Campus Activities:

For the past two years, I have been a volunteer note-taker for the Paul Menton Centre for Students with Disabilities on Campus. Being a note-taker pushed me into wanting to volunteer more and made me realize the importance of doing more and participating in events and activities.

My Favourite Place on campus:

My favorite place on Campus is sitting and/or walking by the Rideau canal, which is just beautiful all year round.

Fun Fact about Me:

I taught myself how to play the ukulele during the pandemic.
