Michele is a third-year Health Sciences student at Carleton University, concentrating in Global Health. Her interests primarily lie in access to health care, including improving health access for rural communities. Michele is on a team working to determine the disparity between eHealth services offered in rural communities versus those that are needed. Michele was fortunate enough to travel to rural Sweden and Australia with Free Range, which provided her with a greater understanding of the importance of the project. She hopes to one day apply her knowledge of increasing health care access in rural communities on a more global scale.
