In a nutshell…
We offer an individualized service to reinforce written French. Sessions are hosted by our French language Teaching Assistants.
Where are we?
We currently offer the written support online on Brightspace and there are two ways to find the page:
- Through the following link: https://brightspace.carleton.ca/d2l/home/54722
- Through the “Discover” option on the Brightspace homepage by looking up key words in the page title “FRENCH – Services de soutien/Support Services”
Once you reach the page, click “Enroll in Course”. This page will then be accessible from the “Student Support” tab of the Brightspace homepage (which will appear after the self-enrolment).
When are we available?
From Monday to Friday. Please consult the Summer 2022 schedule for further details.
How does it work?
Students must book appointments online in advance, as sessions are highly coveted. Bookings are limited to one 40-minute session per day per student, with a maximum of one session per week.
To book an appointment, go online to https://frenchcarleton.simplybook.me/v2/#book. Book a session with your name and course code. If you have booked a session and find yourself unable to attend, you must cancel your appointment online so as to allow someone else to make use of that time slot.
