French and Francophone Literatures at Carleton<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Studying literature is a great way to put your language skills into practice. It\u2019s also a window into the many Francophone cultures that you\u2019ll learn about at Carleton through our literature courses. By reading poetry, novels, and plays from Qu\u00e9bec and Canada, the Caribbean, Africa, Asia, and France, you\u2019ll grapple with current and historical issues like migration, colonialism, nationalism, and identity, and develop an appreciation for the ways in which different cultures express themselves through language and the literary arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
