Helping non-financial managers make sense of the numbers
For many managers, the company’s financial statements remain a mystery. However, as these managers move into increasingly senior positions, understanding these mysteries become more important. Discussions and decision-making regarding budgeting, project management and financial results and performance become more routine. A basic understanding of both financial statements and performance and project evaluation tools will help increase your confidence to analyze the financial information to support decision-making and add greater value to your organization.
The course is designed to help managers understand and interpret Financial Statements through ratio analysis. The course also covers the budget process, product and service costing and pricing, cashflow management as well as project and performance evaluation of the organization. The course is equally applicable to profit or not-for-profit, and governmental organizations.
