Intellectual Property (IP) is a company asset and should be managed as such. However, your organization may have limited resources or no in-house IP expertise readily available. To address that gap, Carleton University created a certificate in Intellectual Property (IP) Strategy in partnership with the  Office of the Vice-President Research and Industry and Partnerships Services (IPS)Sprott School of Business Professional & Executive Education UnitStratford Intellectual Property, and the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) agency of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada.

This program allows participants to gain valuable insight, apply hands-on strategies, and network with fellow participants and practitioners. Whether they are new to the field or an experienced intellectual property professional, this program offers everything they need to develop a customized IP strategy to increase the value of their business.

“As an engineer and executive, I always felt a gap in my understanding of IP and how to strategize our IP portfolio.
